YESS member at GASS panel

YESS and the Global Atmospheric System Studies (GASS) panel are looking for an Early Career Researcher to be included in their leadership structure.

The GASS panel is an initiative from the Global  Energy and Water Exchanges (GEWEX), whose goal is to facilitate and support the international community that carries out and uses observations, process studies, and numerical model experiments with the goal of developing and improving the representation of the atmosphere in weather and climate models. Primarily, GASS coordinates scientific projects that bring together experts to contribute to the development of atmospheric models. You can see a more detailed description of GASS here.

Currently, GASS panel is formed by 8 researchers, and would like to add one early career researcher to the panel.The early career researcher will work in close cooperation with the entire panel on the development of the GASS activities. In addition, the early career researcher will serve as a contact point between GASS and YESS to promote the involvement of early career researchers in GASS panel activities. To become a panel member is a great way to gain insight into how international science bodies function, as well as into the latest developments in the field, and to strengthen your network. The position advertised is a volunteer position with no associated direct funding.
